The Challenge
The project required the transformation and upgrade of an existing resort building on Al Hamra Island, Ras Al Khaimah, with a focus on interior works, MEP systems, kitchens, clubs, smart building solutions, and operator compliance. As the building was more than 30 years old, the works demanded careful coordination between existing conditions, new design requirements, authority regulations, and five-star hospitality expectations.
The challenge was to modernize the resort without compromising operational quality, safety, comfort, design intent, or compliance with updated authority and operator standards.
Our Solution
City Creek Construction supported the project through optimized MEP and fit-out execution, focusing on design improvement, technical coordination, smart building solutions, kitchens, clubs, and high-quality hospitality finishes. The project team worked to align existing building conditions with new system requirements, upgraded layouts, authority expectations, and operator checklists.
Working alongside LACASA Consultant and Ashbilia Contracting, the execution approach focused on careful site coordination, technical review, MEP integration, fit-out quality, material coordination, inspection readiness, and compliance with the standards required for a modern five-star resort environment.
